Programs for Vermont State Employees through the Vermont State Colleges

The Vermont State Colleges are pleased to partner with the State of Vermont to offer a wide  range of affordable and accessible college courses to state employees. Our colleges reach every corner of the state, offer online and flexible courses, and provide financial aid. State employees will find a host of course offerings relevant to their careers.

Would you like to get started toward a certificate or your associate degree?

Community College of Vermont programs are offered statewide and online. A wide range of highly interactive courses during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters are available at twelve Academic Centers and online.

Find out about finishing your bachelor’s degree online or in your community:

NVU Online is a flexible degree completion program which accepts transfer credits, credits for prior learning, and includes a self-designed degree.

You can get college credit for what you already know:

The Vermont State Colleges Prior Learning Assessment is a cost-effective and time saving approach to earning credits toward a college degree.

Take an online or flexible course in continuing education:

Each of our colleges offers a wide-range of online and flexible continuing education courses available to any Vermont State employee. You can work toward a degree or certificate, pursue an interest, or access resources for your own professional development.
