Am I able to take courses even though I’m not interested in getting a degree?
Yes. Students age 65 and older may audit one undergraduate VSCS course per enrollment period without tuition charge. You would still be responsible for administrative fees any course-specific fees.
What does “audit” mean?
Auditing a course means you do not receive credit for taking it.
Can I take more than one course per semester?
Yes. You can take any undergraduate course after auditing the first, tuition-free course for a 50% discount off the tuition rate. To be eligible, you may not take the place of students paying full tuition in courses with enrollment limits.
